In 1949, Yamauchi's grandfather and the incumbent President of Nintendo, Sekiryo Yamauchi, suffered a stroke. As he had no other immediate successor, he asked Yamauchi to come immediately to Nintendo to assume the job of President. He had to leave Waseda University to do so. Yamauchi would only accept the position if he were the only family member working at Nintendo. Reluctantly, Yamauchi's grandfather agreed, and died shortly thereafter. Under the agreement, his older cousin had to be fired.

KEY POINTS:Best selling fantasy author Robert Jordan has died of a rare blood disease aged 58, it has been reported. Jordan - whose real name was James Oliver Rigney Jr - wrote the "Wheel of Time" series, which sold millions of books since the first - "The Eye of the World" - was published in 1990. Associated Press (AP) news agency reported that Jordan died at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston on Sunday local time.

Dubbed the FirePro W9100, AMD’s latest card is their expected refresh of their FirePro product lineup to integrate the company’s recently launched Hawaii family of processors.
As Hawaii itself was a small but important refresh to Tahiti and the GCN architecture, the same can be said of the FirePro W9100 compared to the FirePro W9000.
